Our 5th Peppa Pig Flu Clinic: A Huge Success!
We are thrilled to announce that our 5th annual Peppa Pig's Flu Clinic was a tremendous success! Over 100 children were vaccinated, all while enjoying a fun-filled day with their families. After their vaccinations, the kids had the exciting opportunity to meet Peppa Pig in person, bounce around on a bouncy castle, get creative with face painting, and take part in a variety of other activities.
The team at RRMC strive to make the vaccination experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for children and their families, turning what can be a challenging task into a day of fun and smiles. Thank you to everyone who joined us – we can’t wait to see you next year!

Our first ever Family Park Run! - London Fields Park August 2024
At Richmond Road Medical Centre we believe that good health is a community effort. That's why we hosted our first-ever Family Fun Park Run! This event was more than just a run - it was a celebration of health, wellness, and community spirit.
RRMC Sports Academy Launches to Promote Health and Wellbeing Among Children
This weekend, RRMC proudly launched our very own RRMC Sports Academy - offering free sports classes for children aged 5-11. Our primary goal is to promote health, wellbeing, and exercise from a young age, tackling health inequalities head-on by ensuring access to free sports for all children.
The RRMC Sports Academy offers a variety of activities designed to engage young minds and foster a love for physical activity that will last a lifetime. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to participate in sports, regardless of their background, and we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Join us in our mission to promote a healthier future for our children.
Family Fun Day - London Fields Park June 2024
This year the team at Richmond Road Medical Centre, were proud to bring the community together for a Family Fun Day at London Fields Park for the first time. With over 900 attendees, it proved to be a huge success. Highlights included appearances from Spiderman and Cinderella, face painting, and lots of fun with a bouncy castle and obstacle course. We also took the opportunity to launch our very own Sports Academy. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day unforgettable!

Hackney Half Marathon – 2024
Richmond Road was represented at the Hackney Half Marathon for the second consecutive year. With a footfall of approximately 70,000, this event provided the perfect opportunity for the team to connect with the wider community and promote health awareness and prevention strategies. We offered wellbeing consultations, effective signposting and performed over 800 opportunistic health checks.

Hackney Town Hall Family Fun Day – March 2024
Following the success of our Health & Wellbeing Fair, the Richmond Road team collaborated with Public Health, Hackney Council and Homerton Trust and Vaccination UK to deliver another community wide event tailored to families, children and young people.
The event attracted more than 650 attendees, where the team administered an additional 98 vaccinations and held 88 engagement discussions.

Hackney Town Hall Health & Wellbeing Fair – January 2024
We are proud to share some notable moments from our large-scale vaccination event at Hackney Town Hall which showcased over 60 local support services and was attended by 1,250 residents. This event was organised in collaboration with Hackney Council, Public Health & Homerton University Foundation Trust.
The exhibitors included representation from a variety of support services such as community mental health, housing support services, legal aid, carers support and digital inclusion.
