Rated as 'Outstanding' by the CQC

We are delighted to share that Richmond Road Medical Centre has been rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – the highest inspection rating a GP practice can achieve.

An Outstanding rating is the highest recognition the CQC can award and reflects excellence across every aspect of general practice. It recognises not only the quality-of-care patients receive, but also the culture, leadership and continuous commitment to improving services. Achieving this standard is exceptionally rare and is a reflection of the dedication shown by our team every single day.

This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible dedication of our entire team. Every GP, Nurse, Pharmacist, Healthcare Assistant, Receptionist, Administrator, Care coordinator, Manager and member of our wider multidisciplinary team has played a part in creating a practice where patients are always at the heart of everything we do.

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to our patients. Your trust, support, feedback, and encouragement continue to shape our practice and inspire us to improve every day. It is a privilege to care for you and your families.

We are equally grateful to our colleagues and partners across the NHS and our local community for their continued collaboration and support.

Whilst we are incredibly proud of this recognition, our focus remains unchanged: to continue delivering compassionate, innovative and outstanding care for every patient, every day.
